Description

An investigation of mathematical concepts and methods with emphasis given to their impact on current and ancient problems. Topics include logic, counting problems, probability, geometry and mathematics of finance. Emphasis is on techniques of problem solving. Prerequisite: MA 005 or Placement into MA 095 or MA101 or MATO 1. Not open to a student with a grade of C or higher in MA 107, or higher except MA 160 and MA 161. Offered: Fall
